The GC range of machines is part of the new Cat product line, offering lower initial pricing than next-gen equivalents. SEM was formerly Shandong SEM Machine Co. Ltd, founded in 1958 in Qingzhou, China. SEM is manufactured in Qingzhou city, where Caterpillar has a world-class centre for continuous product improvement using Caterpillar Product Systems.
